We often spend more than third of our lives at our place of work. Its layout and ergonomics influence how we feel and how we work. Fresh air, daylight, logical space layout, common areas, and quiet work areas – this is MPK. The technical equipment in the building was designed with the environment and the needs of its occupants in mind and sets new standards in office environment.
At MPK, you can leave your office and walk into a fresh green garden. The building has a landscaped rooftop garden, available year-round for relaxation and informal meetings and offering great views of Prague‘s historic centre.
Another special feature is the possibility to open windows. Every second window throughout the building, both on the outside facade and in the central atrium, can be opened manually.
Ventilation and cooling uses state of the art induction units, mounted in the recessed false ceilings. The entire system is designed to respect natural air circulation. Cold fresh air descends from the ceiling, this reduces circulation speeds and brings about an exceptionally natural feel to the environment, where no draught can be felt or heard.
The central atrium provides natural daylight for all interior spaces. Increased ceiling height next to both outside perimeter and inside atrium windows provides extra daylight. No dark shady offices depending on artificial lighting in this building.
